Beacon Pilates is committed to protecting the personal information that you provide.

Information we collect

The Beacon Pilates website will only collect basic personal data about you, such as your name, email address and any interests that you have shared. If you chose to become a member of Beacon Pilates, a paper-based health assessment will be completed, within which medical information and emergency contact details will be recorded. This type of personal information is often known as ‘sensitive personal data’ and will be treated as such.

Google: We use a third party service, G Suite, from Google, to publish our website and manage ad-hoc email correspondence. G Suite also captures enquiries that are placed through the Beacon Pilates website, requiring your name and email address to be entered and recorded. Google Analytics: When someone visits beaconpilates.co.uk, we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the website.

This information is only processed in a way that does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about it. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.

MailChimp: We use a third party provider, MailChimp, to send out emails that keep you up-to-date with products and services that you have expressed an interest in. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve ongoing communications. From time to time, the Beacon Pilates website may contain links to other websites. How long we keep your information for

Beacon Pilates will not keep your personal information longer than is necessary for the purpose in which it was provided, unless required by law, or for other legitimate reasons that need it to be retained for longer (for example, if necessary for any legal proceedings).

You can choose to unsubscribe from Beacon Pilates marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe option on any marketing communication sent from us. You may continue to receive further communications where a contractual or legitimate interest exists.
